The Role:
You will be responsible for performing facility layouts of solar power plants, and BESS power systems using Autocad Civil 3D. You will help coordinate multidisciplinary team of external engineers and working with manufacturers of mounting structures for fixed and single axis tracking systems. You will also provide engineering and technical support to other SEV team members. You will be responsible for assisting in the interconnection process by filling out applications and participating in interconnection meetings with interconnecting utilities. You will be responsible for performing occasional site visits for project assessment and feasibility.
Your Responsibilities may include:
· Build and maintain tools for system design, cost estimating, product evaluation, and more.
· Maintain clear and concise communication with management on all development activities
· Support utility interconnection and permitting application processes.
· Support training of engineering department personnel.
· Support development of design drawing libraries.
· Additional duties as assigned and/or directed.
You will have:
· Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in utility scale or community solar design
· Strong personal and written skills
· Proven track record of supporting project management & land development through design.
