We are seeking a Legal Nurse Consultant with 3-5 years of civil litigation or medical review analyst experience to join our expanding team of legal professionals in our Minneapolis, MN office. As a full-time Legal Nurse Consultant with our firm, you will enjoy the challenge of working on various complex defense litigation matters in a business casual environment. Candidates need to live in Minnesota and be able to work onsite in a hybrid work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Compile, analyze and summarize medical records
• Create medical summaries and chronologies
• Manage files to ensure information is organized according to standards
• Advising on specific cases and assisting other non-medical team members in delivering favorable outcomes for our medical device and pharmaceutical teams, as well as our automotive product liability teams as needed
• Prepare for and attend nationwide trials (as needed)
• Attend in-house CLE's and actively participate in team meetings
• Account for daily time and detail of work on each case through an online time tracking system
• Maintain experienced-level of expertise in relevant software programs
• Supervise and evaluate assigned Legal Administrative Assistant
• Assist with paralegal duties as necessary based on workload
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by leadership

Your ability to thrive within a team environment while delivering impeccable internal customer and external client service is essential to your success. Previous experience as a legal nurse consultant or medical review analyst makes you a competitive candidate.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to travel via air to attend nationwide and local trials
• Ability to work occasional overtime to meet client needs and court deadlines

Education and Experience:

• R.N. license required with a Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of legal nurse consultant or medical review analyst experience
• Law firm experience is a plus
• Demonstrated team spirit, teaching ability and desire to share information that directly contributes to the success of other team members
