Inventory Clerk - Blue Springs Logistics Warehouse

Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and looking for a stable opportunity with potential for long-term growth? We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Clerk to join our client's logistics warehouse team. This is a temp-to-hire position offering a consistent schedule and competitive pay.
Job Description:
As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our inventory records. Your key duties will include:
Accurate Inventory Counts: Counting materials and meticulously posting totals to inventory records.
Verification and Reconciliation: Verifying record computations against physical counts of inventory, identifying discrepancies, and adjusting errors.
Discrepancy Investigation: Investigating and reporting reasons for inventory discrepancies.
Equipment Operation (Preferred): Operating equipment such as forklifts, case pickers, and RF scan guns (experience preferred).
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Schedule: (2 shifts)

Compensation:
2nd shift: Pay is $22/hour
Weekend shift: Pay is $23.50/hour

Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or logistics warehouse operations.
Proven ability to accurately count and record inventory.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in basic math and data entry.
Experience with inventory management systems (WMS) highly desired.
Preferred: Experience operating forklifts, case pickers, and RF scan guns.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
