This is a Direct Hire opportunity, on-site in Austin, TX, offering long-term stability and the chance to lead high-impact projects with a contractor known for strong execution and essential infrastructure work. As a Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent, you’ll oversee day-to-day onsite operations for utility and site development projects. You’ll coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials while ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are consistently met. Projects will include water/wastewater systems, storm drainage & storm sewer systems, and conduit and other dry utility infrastructure. Duties: • Lead daily onsite construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers, vendors, and deliveries to keep the job moving • Conduct routine site walks/inspections and enforce safety and quality standards • Communicate proactively with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and field teams • Track manpower, equipment, and material needs; anticipate and resolve jobsite challenges Required Experience & Skills • 4+ years of Heavy Civil Superintendent experience (field leadership required)• Strong working knowledge of wet and dry utilities • Familiarity with construction codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards • OSHA 30 Certification (required) What We are Looking For: • Strong collaboration and communication across multiple crews and stakeholders • Organized, dependable, and able to manage competing priorities • Diplomatic leadership style with accountability and follow-through • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and production If you're ready to lead field operations and deliver high-quality heavy civil utility projects in Austin, apply today.
