There is no in office. Work consists of working from home & Courtroom appearances.
MGM Trial Services seeks applications for a full-time position in trial technology consulting with an emphasis on graphic design. For this position, no prior experience in trial technology consulting is required: comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
This is a client-facing role, in which you will collaborate with trial lawyers to create effective visual media for presentation at trial. These demonstratives will consist in slide decks, timelines, charts and diagrams, illustrations and icons, animated document call-outs, and so on. A command of design software is a given: more important is the candidate's capacity to harness those tools to distill the issues of complex cases and to demonstrate our clients' arguments with the utmost clarity.
As part of this position, you will further accompany attorneys into the courtroom in the role of a trial technician. The "trial tech" or "hotseat operator" assists litigators with all that goes into presenting digital evidence at trial. Again, for this role, no prior experience in the courtroom is required.

Again, no single form of prior work experience is required for this position. Various backgrounds can lend themselves to success in this field. That said, some preferred qualifications will distinguish candidates. Those qualifications may include the following:
We work on location in courtrooms and legal offices. Centered around Baltimore, our chief service areas extend through Maryland, Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. The person who accepts this job must reside in or relocate to a region that enables him or her to commute to job sites within these service areas. We typically travel 15-20% of the year. Travel expenses are reimbursed. When not in trial, the vast majority of our work can be done remotely.
Compensation: This is a full-time, salaried position. The starting salary and benefits are negotiable. In addition to your salary, you will earn a trial-day bonus for each day you are in the courtroom. Some candidates may be eligible for a partial reimbursement of relocation expenses.
