Job Description:

• We seek a lead with hands-on experience leveraging Epic Bridges to send Epic data in HL7 format in real time. Client is also exploring Redox as an interface engine to process HL7-format data from Epic Bridges and convert it into a REST API format (e.g., JSON) to feed into the cloud data platform (Databricks). Hands-on experience in such an environment is a must.
• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of data pipelines that ingest, normalize, and integrate EPIC data for chatbot use cases.
• Interface with EPIC through APIs (e.g., FHIR, HL7, Chronicles, Bridges, Clarity/Caboodle) to extract relevant clinical data.
• Design scalable data architectures on Azure (ADF, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Databricks, etc.).
• Collaborate with product and NLP/AI teams to make data accessible for conversational AI models.
• Strong understanding of EPIC data models, including Clarity and Caboodle, and experience extracting data via EPIC's APIs.
• Proven experience in Azure Cloud data services ADF, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks.
• Deep knowledge of ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and building large-scale data solutions.
• Familiarity with FHIR/HL7 standards and healthcare interoperability.
• Experience working on chatbot or AI/ML initiatives is a plus.
• Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
• Build and enforce standards for data quality, lineage, metadata management, and observability.
• Excellent understanding of data privacy, security best practices, and compliance in healthcare.

Educational Qualification:

Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
